“We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter’s evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.”
Sailing on Curtains

I have had these images in my head for a while, of sailing paper ships hung by red thread. I also have been craving to do some more photography! I want to hop onto one of these ships and voyage into this rare sunlight. Check out this quote by Mr. Woodrow Wilson:

How lovely…:)
Such an inspiring quote, Blaze, thank you so much for sharing this and your beautiful boats – perfect for sailing the seven seas in the springtime! :)
Wow, those are so neat! I love how you made them with maps for sails. The curtain behind them works perfectly. Fabulous job! What are you going to do with them now?
So cool Blaze! I like your ships! I got some lovely new gems that I will be making rings out of, so that is what I have been up to. Saturday I am going to this farm called Animal Place, where they rescue farm animals. I am one of the cows Foster Mommy! So I will be going to feed him apples and carrots. So nice to hear from you. I check out your Etsy shop all the time. One day I promise to buy some prints. Maybe sooner than later :)
This is an EXCELLENT idear :) WOW! How creative of you!
Hi Blaze!!

Love the wee ships….did you make the curtains they are hanging from? I love the watercolour look to them!
Are you sure you’re reading Alice in Wonderland and not Peter Pan?!? I think that Disney Magic rubbed off on you :)
Oh wow, how beautifully peaceful! Your ships are lovely too. I glad I inspired you to photograph more :D
Those ships are so cute, Blaze!!

Blaze, these sailing ships are so cool! Any chance of a turorial so we can make our own, or of putting some in your Etsy store?
Now, I’m wondering what other things we can hang from our curtains? Fairies maybe? That would be cool too!
Very cool ships! I love them! Isn’t photography fun? I love it! You should add items like your ships to your store – nice for a children’s bedroom! Awesome quote too…totally agree with Mr. Wilson!!!! DREAM ON!

These are so clever! The maps for sails make me want to squeal and the way you hung them staggered so they seem to be sailing across your curtains. A-doorbell!
