Yesterday during class, my dear friend showed me a wonderful photographer on Flickr. We were swooning over the pretty color choices and feminine beauties. For some Tuesday inspiration, go see the colorful photos by Courtney Brooke (who is a photographer for Mama Stone Vintage).
Also, for more fun, check out my new favorite book! I bought it off of Amazon for only $4! That’s so reasonable for being such a treasure! Sendak’s illustrations are so darling, and I about laughed through the entire book. So fun!
Also, my dear friend mentioned above came over this weekend, and took some beautiful photos of my cozy room! Go see Moorea’s blog for some lovely photos and a peek into my world. (She was the singer/songwriter of Mr. Head and Ms. Heart on your Penny Playlists!)
I hope all of you have a wonderful day being creative! I have a huge project under my belt, that hopefully I will be able to share with you sometime this week!
Until tomorrow!

Oh, I love that book!! Maurice Sendak has been my favorite since I was little. No one can beat In the Night Kitchen and Where the Wild Things are, in my humble opinion!! Great find!
Blaze those pictures of your room are so beautiful! And what its this girly day out you were talking about?! It sounds so fun! If it involves looking at magazines, going thrifting, laughing and singing then I wish we were local friends so I could join you! Cheers!
Fantastic photos indeed!
What delightful photos of your abode, and such tidy bookshelves! My fav is your tea collection :) Good luck with your big project x
Blaze, I can’t wait to receive my print. Oh the decision was so hard to make!
love maurice sendak! will be checking it out!
oh wow!!! thank you so much for these inspiration sources… my eyes are just so overcome with loveliness! :)
Oh I would just love that book I know it. My mom had to take away The Wild Things from me when I was little because I was to horrible after reading it. I loved to be a little monster! I had always adored his artwork!
Those photos are gorgeous, I am headed to her Flickr right now!
I think I will be getting one of those books. How gorgeous!
Beautiful photos – It is so much fun to find a great photographer on Flickr! Thanks so much for sharing!
And your friend is so talented! I just love that song on the penny playlist – one of my favorites!
p.s. You have such lovely treasures in your room, so neat to see such pretty sneek peeks :)
The next time you’re in Philly, make sure you go to The Please Touch Museum…they have an interactive Maurice Sendak exhibit. They also have Pop-Up story books to walk through – you’d LOVE it!
